Then, move to your right arm, left leg, and right leg, each time repeating the phrase "is heavy" three times. Next, acknowledge the heaviness of both arms and legs together.
This repetition helps your body feel progressively heavier, promoting relaxation.
Continue by relaxing your face and slowing down your heart rate and breathing. Repeat "my face is relaxed" three times, then "my heart rate is slow" and "my breathing is slow" each three times. Finally, calm your mind by repeating "my mind is clear and ready for sleep" three times.
Conclude the meditation by affirming "my whole body is relaxed and ready for sleep" and finally, "I am ready for sleep" three times. This methodical relaxation technique aims to prepare your body and mind for restful sleep.
